Motorcycle 'Hooligan' Taunted Bensalem Cops: Police

BENSALEM, PA — Police in Bensalem are asking for the public's help finding a motorcycle rider they say was endangering other residents.

In a news release Monday, Bensalem Police called the dirt-bike rider a "hooligan," saying he was "taunting police and putting your safety at risk on Bensalem streets."

"We have taken a zero tolerance stance on dangerous riding on public streets," police said in the release. "This continues to be a problem in many towns but we are working hard to keep you and your family safe from these riders. We need to curb this activity before someone gets hurt."

Police said the dangerous activity happened in the area of Hulmeville Road and Village Green.

Police shared photos of the bike rider, as well as a video that appears to show him photographing or video-recording police officers on his cellphone before taking off.
