Neshaminy State Park Hosts Weekend Civil War
This is the 23rd annual event in Bensalem.
The Civil War is coming to Bensalem this weekend.
The 23rd annual Civil War Re-enactment will be held on Saturday-Sunday, April 28-29 at , located on 3401 State Road, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. rain or shine. Admission is free.
This event is the largest Civil War re-enactment on the East Coast outside of Gettysburg.

This campaign consisted of two battles fought in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and they were part of the offensive Confederate General Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson undertook to prevent Union forces from moving eastward to take the Confederate capital of Richmond, Virginia.
This event is a joint project sponsored by Neshaminy State Park, the , the 28th Pennsylvania Historical Association, the Army of Northern Virginia Re-enacting Organization, the Delaware Valley Civil War Roundtable, The G.A.R. Museum and Library, and Waste Management, Inc.
