New Principal Named at Holy Ghost Prep

Dean Danilak promoted to principal.

Holy Ghost Prep President Rev. Jeffrey T. Duaime announced today that Jeffrey Danilak has been appointed the next principal of the school beginning on July 1.

According to a release, Danilak has worked at Holy Ghost Prep for 16 years as an Advance Placement English teacher, English Department Chair and served as the Dean of Studies since 2009.

“Jeff Danilak’s appointment comes after a three month search process to find the ideal candidate to help Holy Ghost Prep advance into the twenty-first century,” said Duaime. “I am confident that Jeff’s skills will help advance the academic program of the school as well as strengthen our commitment to mission and service in the community.”

Danilak is an accomplished educator with an abundance of diverse accomplishments. He has taught Advanced Placement English Language for 8 years and created and developed Holy Ghost Prep’s Cinematography program – one of the most popular elective courses in the school. Jeff has also served as a member of the school’s Middle States Accreditation Team, Academic Committee, Admissions Committee and coached HGP’s golf team from 1997 to 2001, winning two PIAA District One Championships (1998, 1999) and twice being named Coach of the Year by the Bucks County Courier Times (1997, 1998).

Danilak is a graduate of LaSalle University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Secondary Education. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Masters degree in 2006 in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University.

A Bucks County native, Jeff Danilak is a member of Saint Peter Parish in West Brandywine, PA and currently lives in Morgantown, Pennsylvania with his wife Beth and two daughters.
