Nicole Sokolowska Named a 2025 PHCA Rising Star for Transformational Leadership in Senior Living
From Concierge to Administrator, Sokolowska's Journey Reflects the Future of Long-Term Care

(October 20, 2025) Bensalem, PA - Juniper Communities is proud to announce that Nicole Sokolowska, Nursing Home Administrator at Juniper Village at Bucks County, has been recognized as a 2025 Rising Star by the Pennsylvania Health Care Association (PHCA). This honor highlights emerging leaders in long-term care who demonstrate outstanding commitment, skill, and vision in advancing care for older adults.
Nicole's recognition is a testament to her rapid rise within Juniper and the senior care field. She joined Juniper Communities in 2020 as a concierge at Juniper Village at Brookline and quickly advanced through roles including Administrator-in-Training and Assistant Executive Director. She currently serves as the Nursing Home Administrator at Juniper Village at Bucks County and will soon assume the additional role of Personal Care Home Administrator.

A graduate of Penn State, Nicole was inspired to enter the long-term care field during her studies and took a hands-on approach during the pandemic, serving as a unit aide at a skilled nursing facility. Her passion for service and deep empathy for residents has been evident throughout her journey.
The PHCA Rising Star Awards recognize long-term care professionals across Pennsylvania who were nominated by their peers as emerging leaders, individuals who already stand out for their leadership, compassion, and dedication to improving the lives of seniors. Nicole will be formally honored during the PHCA Awards Ceremony and Networking Reception on Wednesday, October 29.
