Parx Tops State in Slots Revenue

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported that slot machine revenue in April was $214.1 million, 1.3 percent higher than revenue produced last April.

had the highest revenue of the state’s 11 casinos. It earned over $33 million compared to last April when it earned $32.9 million.

The next highest totals were at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh ($24.4 million) and Sands Casino in Bethlehem ($24.3 million).

The new casino resort in Valley Forge generated over $4 million in slots revenue during its first full month of operation.

The tax revenue generated from slot machine play at all state casinos during this April was $116 million. Parx taxes totaled nearly $18 million.
