Police Search for Electronic Thief

have reported that an ATM skimmer was located at a bank on Street Road.

Police said a customer used the ATM machine at the bank on June 2 and noticed something wasn’t right. He discovered that the machine was equipped with an illegal skimmer to steal people’s information.

According to police, due to the alert person who used the machine, no personal information was jeopardized. Investigation found that the skimmer was installed on the machine for approximately 8 hours.

Police have surveillance photos of the individual who attached the device to the ATM. They are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
