Police Search for Funeral Home Thieves
Surveillance video shows two men removing an iron furniture set from a funeral home porch. Police said they would likely sell it for scrap metal.

are attempting to identify two “brazen suspects” in the theft of a white wrought iron chair set stolen from a local funeral home. The theft occurred around 4:30 p.m. on June 1.

Fortunately, the suspects and their vehicle were caught on surveillance video.
According to Deputy Director of Public Safety Pat Ponticelli, like many other municipalities in the area, Bensalem is inundated with recent thefts of metal, which is sold for pennies on the dollar as scrap metal.
