BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — PennDOT is planning pothole repairs this week throughout the Philadelphia region, including one road in the township.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that PennDOT maintenance crews will be working on 30 state highways this week to repair deteriorated pavement in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

The Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.
