Safe Summer Kickoff Health & Wellness Fair in Cooper River Park

Come join us on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 in Cooper River Park for a fun-filled community event including safety demonstrations, health screenings, free giveaways, and more. The Safe Summer Kickoff Health and Wellness Fair is hosted by Camden County Board of Commissioners, Camden County Department of Health, and the New Jersey Poison Control Center.

This free community event will provide information, resources, services, and support to families in Camden County.

Who: Anyone - all ages welcome

What: Safe Summer Kickoff Health and Wellness Fair

Where: Cooper River Park, 5300 N. Park Drive, Pennsauken, NJ (near the Piazza)

When: Saturday, June 8th from 11 AM to 2 PM

• Eye screenings for all ages
• Blood lead screening
• Blood pressure screening
• Developmental Screenings for Ages 0-5: a tool which provides parents with a snapshot of their child’s development in five areas: communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving and social skills.

Demonstrations and Activities

• Summer Water Safety: How to keep your family safe this summer
• Hands on CPR practice for people and dogs
• Dog safety demonstrations
