Schools Superintendent Apologizes For Bensalem Transportation Troubles
The Bensalem Schools Superintendent said measures were made to correct transportation issues at the start of the new school year.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Every school district in Bucks County has to work out the kinks to start a new school year.
For several districts, one of the biggest issues involves transportation.
Bensalem has dealt with some school bus blunders to start the 2025-2026 school year and Schools Superintendent Samuel Lee has issued an apology to the community.

"We want to extend our sincerest apologies for the bus transportation difficulties experienced during the first few days of school," Lee said. "We recognize the inconvenience and concern these issues have caused for some of our students, families, and staff. Please know that we take these concerns seriously and are actively working with our transportation partners to identify and resolve the root causes."
The school district has taken measures to correct the issues.

The superintendent said that one correction involves deploying additional staff to assist with coordination, communication, and oversight.
"We are committed to ensuring that our students have safe, reliable transportation to and from school," Lee said. "Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these challenges."
