Several Bucks Co. Roads Face Lane Closures Next Week: PennDOT

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that several roads in Bucks County will be seeing lane closures next week.

The lane closures are related to construction activities involving bridge inspections, guide rail repairs, ADA intersection improvements, and other safety activities. Similar closures will be taking place in the Philadelphia, Delaware County, and Montgomery County areas.

Here is a list of all local roads facing closures:

• Intermittent lane closures are scheduled at the Interstate 295 and Route 322 (Yardley Newtown Road) Interchange in Lower Makefield Township from June 21 through June 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for line striping and rumble strip installation.
• Intermittent lane closures are scheduled at Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) and Bristol Pike Interchange in Bensalem Township from June 21 through June 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for line striping and rumble strip installation.
• Intermittent lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-295 between the Stoney Hill Road overpass and the U.S. 1 Interchange in Falls Township from June 21 through June 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for line striping and rumble strip installation.
• Intermittent lane closures are scheduled at the U.S. 1 and Oxford Valley Road Interchange in Falls Township from June 21 through June 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for line striping and rumble strip installation.
• Periodic lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) between the I-95 Interchange and the Bucks County line in Bensalem Township beginning June 27 through late December, Sunday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning for guide rail repair.
• Periodic lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Interstate 276 Interchange and the Philadelphia line in Bensalem and Bristol townships beginning June 27 through late December, Sunday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning for guide rail repair.

Those traveling these roads at these times should make extra time to compensate for closures or find a different route. All scheduled construction projects will be weather dependent.
