Lower Bucks Co. Schools Open Next Week

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Bensalem Township School District is eager to start the new school year.

The school district will be the first in Lower Bucks County to get the new 2025-2026 school year going, bringing students back to class on Monday. Several others follow next week, while others will open after Labor Day.

These are the start dates for school districts this year:

Bensalem Township

The Bensalem Township School District begins classes on Monday.

Bristol Borough

The first day of school for all students is Wednesday, Sept. 3.

Bristol Township

Classes begin at all township schools on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Kindergarten, sixth- and ninth-grade students have orientation on Aug. 28.

Bucks County Technical High School

School starts for 9th-grade students on Tuesday, while the rest of the students return to class on Wednesday.

Centennial School District

The Centennial School District has a new schools superintendent this year. Students in 1st through 12th grades get started on Wednesday. Kindergarteners start on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Middle Bucks Institute of Technology

The first day of school is right after Labor Day on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Morrisville Borough School District

It's an early start for students who return to classes on Tuesday.

Neshaminy School District

The first day of school is Wednesday for kindergarten, 5th, and 9th-grade students. The rest of the grades return to classes on Thursday.

Pennsbury School District

The new school year starts for kindergarten, 6th-and-9th-grade students with orientation on Tuesday, Sept. 2. All students start school on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
