Soroptimists Honored at Scarecrow Festival

Those among the 10,000 visitors to the 45th Peddler’s Village Scarecrow Festival who voted for their favorite scarecrow, chose Pinkalicious Pinkadicious to be honored with 1st place in the Carecrow “In Your Corner” category. Their eye-catching choice, with its important message “Get Your Mammogram”, was created by Eileen Conner for the Soroptimist International of Indian Rock (SIIR), Inc., a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
