Man Killed In Street Road Intersection Crash
Bensalem fire officials responded to a one-car crash at the Street Road intersection early Friday morning in which a man died.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man died following a crash at a Street Road intersection on Friday morning that is under investigation, police said.
Bensalem Police were called to the intersection of Street Road and Mechanicsville Road at 5:56 a.m. on Friday for a report of a serious crash.

Police investigated a single-vehicle crash in which a Toyota Camry, driven by Aaron Mines, 29, of Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, was traveling west on Street Road when it lost control and struck the traffic light standard.
Mines was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by Bensalem EMS and subsequently died of his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing to determine if drugs, alcohol, or a medical condition were contributors to this crash.
The intersection was closed for some time before later reopening.
