$100,000 Treehouse Perches in Gladwyne

The treehouse is a great place for a battle—or a quiet board game.

A $100,000 Gladwyne treehouse—made of Spanish cedar and South American ipe—is based on designs drawn by property owner Nick Adams' four kids, according to Philadelphia Magazine.

The Adams family's treehouse is complete with a drawbridge, trapdoor, catapult and pulley system, so it's perfect for friendly fights. The family also uses it for playing board games and for picnics, according to Philadelphia Magazine.
