78-Year-Old Dementia Patient Allegedly Abused
District Attorney of Delaware County Mike Green called the alleged abuse "humiliating."

Haverford Police arrested a Yeadon woman in connection with an assault at a nursing home in which a dementia patient reportedly was forced to stand topless.
According to a police affidavit, Samirah Traynham, 22, with two other coworkers at the Quadrangle Nursing Home on 3300 block of Darby Road in Haverford, physically and verbally abused an elderly dementia patient.
Suspicious of nursing home workers, family members of the patient installed a hidden camera, or "nanny cam" in the room disguised as a clock. The affidavit indicates that three employees were filmed coercing the woman to remove her shirt and stand naked in March.
