Accused Cop Killer Pleads Not Guilty
Eric Frein spent 48 days in hiding after authorities said he killed a Pennsylvania state trooper in September.

The man charged with murdering a Pennsylvania State trooper in a September shooting was formally arraigned in court Thursday in Milford.
Eric Frein, who spent 48 days in hiding after allegedly killing a state trooper and injuring another, entered a not guilty plea, according to NBC10.

He participated in the arraignment by video, Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin told NBC10.
Frein, 31, is charged in connection with the murder of Cpl. Bryon Dickson at the Blooming Grove State Police barracks on Sept. 12. Trooper Alex T. Douglass was also was wounded in the shooting.

Prosecutors have said they plan to seek the death penalty for Frein, who was on the FBI’s Most Wanted List as law enforcement officers conducted the multimillion dollar search to find him in the rural Northeastern Pennsylvania woods.
He was captured on Oct. 30 near an abandoned airplane hangar in Tannersville.
