Bryn Mawr Day Less Than Two Weeks Away

Event to feature food, music, family fun and more

The annual Bryn Mawr Day, scheduled for Sept. 12, is fast approaching. The event will run at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the the municipal parking lot at Lancaster and Bryn Mawr avenues.

Highlights of the event will include the “A Taste of Bryn Mawr,” featuring food from local restaurants, as well as musical performances from the likes of Elise Dadourian with the Dan May Band, the Willson Vocal Academy, Blues Uprising, the Shipley Singers and the Baldwin B-Flats.

The Bryn Mawr Farmers’ Market will also take place during the event, with extended hours until 2 p.m. and the“Give and Take Little Circus” will perform twice. Other highlights include fire trucks rides and a free history bus tour of Bryn Mawr attractions.

“This has truly become a signature event not just for Bryn Mawr, but for the entire Main Line,” Lower Merion Township Commissioner Scott Zelov said in the announcement of the event. “Each year it becomes not just bigger, but better. And there’s no better way to welcome everyone back to town after summer and after the Labor Day weekend.”
