Bryn Mawr Day Is Saturday
Saturday's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 90s.

The Sixth Annual Bryn Mawr Day celebration is this Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The free event, to be held rain or shine, will take place in the municipal parking lot at Lancaster and Bryn Mawr avenues (just across Lancaster from Ludington Library). The family-friendly event will feature food, entertainment, children's activities and much more.

“A Taste of Bryn Mawr” is again the highlight of the festival, according to organizers. There will be a "diverse array" of restaurants and merchants offering Bryn Mawr’s finest and most popular foods.
There will also be an "eclectic combination" of music, history tours, fire truck rides, circus performances, a live petting zoo and pony rides. Live performances include music from the Willson Vocal Academy, Wolf Performing Arts Center, Bluebird, Blues Uprising, Agnes Irwin School Chorus,the Shipley Singers and the Baldwin B-Flats.

The “Give and Take Little Circus” will have two performances, featuring clowns, jugglers and aerial aerobic acts. Throughout the day, kids will enjoy face painting and balloon artists.
That day, the Bryn Mawr Farmers’ Market will have extended hours until 2 p.m.
There will also be fire truck rides and free history bus tours. The 45-minute tours will be starting and returning from the Farmers Market parking lot, leaving on the hour at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.
“This has truly become a signature event not just for Bryn Mawr, but for the entire Main Line,” said Lower Merion Township Commissioner Scott Zelov.
“Each year it becomes not just bigger, but better. And there’s no better way to welcome everyone back to town after summer and after the Labor Day weekend.”
