The convention, being held at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center, began with a rocky start Monday with some tension continuing Tuesday as some Bernie Sanders supporters walked out as Hillary Clinton was officially nominated to take on Donald Trump in the general election.

The week so far has been filled with an array of speakers singing their praises for Clinton, including First Lady Michelle Obama, Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders on Monday. Tuesday featured the nominee's husband and former President Bill Clinton. In a personal and enthusiastic tribute to his wife of more than 40 years, Bill Clinton called the nominee the "best darn change-maker I have ever known."

Wednesday is expected to be a busy day at the convention, with a full prime-time lineup of speakers. Follow along with developments here:

As delegates shuffle into the hall awaiting gavel in, the music over the speakers in the convention hall is getting progressively more excitable. The soundtrack has gone a bit like this: Adele's "Rumor Has It" > Michael Jackson's "Shake Your Body" > "1999" by Prince > "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," another Jackson party classic. No dancing observed (yet).
