L.M. Meeting Preview: Recycling to Get New Look From Environmental Council

The township's Environmental Advisory Council has a full agenda tonight.

The Lower Merion Environmental Advisory Council meets tonight at 7 to discuss land development plans, sustainable parking lots, a new recycling logo and slogan, and other items on a rather full agenda.

The EAC is applying for a Watershed Education Grant from the Pennsylvania Water Resources Education Network (WREN), a “nonpartisan informal collaboration among organizations and public officials” that works to protect the state’s water resources through education and policy-making, according to the group’s website.

The meeting will also include a follow-up on the township’s Go For The Green Awards, and Acting Chair Barry Jeffries will be giving a “Morris Arboretum tour.”
