Missing Woman From Father Divine Found Dead

An 84-year-old resident of the Father Divine property in Gladwyne was found dead Friday afternoon after going missing Thursday night, according to Lower Merion police.

The woman, Lillian Cleophus Cox, was discovered missing about 5 a.m. Friday from the 1622 Spring Mill Road property, according to a press release from the Lower Merion Police Department. It is believed Cox went missing about 9 p.m. Thursday, the release states.

Other residents of the estate conducted a search of the 72-acre property and were unable to find her, and police were contacted shortly after 1 p.m. Friday. Cox was found dead at 4:14 p.m. on an adjoining property, according to the release.

Police said there is no evidence of foul play.
