Police Activity: Simple Assault, Car Crashes, Bike Theft

 police responded to 172 calls the week of July 9 through July 15 throughout Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne, down from , department records show.

During that week, police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) included:

• 2 incidents of compromised identity
• 2 fires
• 1 incident of fraud by deception
• 2 car crashes with injuries
• 9 car crashes with property damage
• 1 simple assault, at 11:33 a.m. July 14 on the 800 block of West Montgomery Avenue in Bryn Mawr
• 1 bicycle theft
