Police Blotter: .208 BAC in Rosemont DUI

The following information has been supplied by the Lower Merion Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

On Monday afternoon,  reported to news media the following incidents from the past week in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne:

DUI: Officers on patrol about 2:14 a.m. Aug. 16 observed a vehicle drifting between lanes and striking a curb on Lancaster Avenue near Montrose Avenue in Rosemont, police said. The 23-year-old woman from Schwenksville, PA, failed a field sobriety test, police said. The woman blew a .208 on a preliminary breath test, police said.

Public drunkenness: Police observed a man stumbling on the 1200 block of Lancaster Avenue headed west about 12:43 a.m. Aug. 17, police said. The 21-year-old man from Beverly Hills, MI, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct, police said.
