Police: Man Draws Gun in Roberts Road Residence
Police said the man that displayed the firearm had been involved in a conflict with one of the victims earlier that evening.

Police said they were called to a disturbance on the unit block of N. Roberts Road in Bryn Mawr at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, that involved a gun being pointed at residents there.
A victim reported being assaulted by two men earlier that night and had returned to a residence on the unit block of N. Roberts Road, Lower Merion Police Capt. Bill Boegly reported Tuesday.
Shortly thereafter, one of the two men who had assaulted the victim went to the residence, went to the second floor and pointed a gun at a couple of people in the house before eventually leaving, Boegly said.

Police said they located the firearm near Brett Bonk, 22, of Woodstock, Ga. Police did not say specifically how or where they found the firearm or Bonk.
Police believe Bonk is a Villanova student, but it has not been confirmed. The gun did not have any ammunition in it when police said they found it with Bonk, Boegly said.

Bonk is charged with criminal trespass, terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment, police said, and he was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $50,000 cash bail. Police do not believe Bonk has made bail. A hearing for Bonk is scheduled for March 1, Boegly said.
Police also arrested Bryan Bescher, 24, of Chandler, Ariz., in connection with the earlier assault, Boegly said. He is charged with simple assault and harassment, police said, and was not present in the residence when the firearm was drawn. Bescher was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
