Region's Best Pie Is Right Here In Bryn Mawr, Philly Magazine Says

In this year's "Best of Philly" awards from Philadelphia Magazine, the winner for "Best Pie" is a Bryn Mawr bakery.

BRYN MAWR, PA — Pie is a year-round dessert. In the summer, fresh berries make for delectable confections, while fall and winter bring around apple and pumpkin varietals.

But where does one get the best pie in the Philadelphia region?

Bryn Mawr, that's where.

At least that's according to Philadelphia Magazine, which recently published its "Best of Philly" winners.

The publication's annual round up of the region's best restaurants, stores, services, and more included "Best Pie" this year.

And the prize went to The Bakery House in Bryn Mawr.

Here's what Philadelphia Magazine had to say about the 604 W. Lancaster Ave. business:

Never show up to a holiday dinner with supermarket pie again. Yes, you’ll spend quadruple the money at Bakery House, but the pies are worth it. Try the delightfully decadent apple-pecan-caramel option, any of the year-round fruit pies (how they pull off a killer blueberry pie in winter is beyond us), or the seasonal offerings, like peach and strawberry rhubarb. Plus, they’re pretty as can be.
