Rosemont Ice Cream Shop Among Area's Best: Philadelphia Magazine

ROSEMONT, PA — Summer is upon us, and that means many people are searching for cold, sweet treats to beat the heat and satisfy the sweet tooth.

And if you're in the Rosemont area, you're close to one of the best ice cream shops in the region, according to Philadelphia Magazine.

Writer Laura Swartz published a list of the best ice cream shops in and around Philadelphia recently.

Among the spots she said are go-to places for scoops in the Philadelphia suburbs was Hope's Cookies in Rosemont.

Here's what Swartz had to say about the East Lancaster Avenue ice cream purveyor:

Ostensibly a cookie company, the real draw here is what Hope’s does with said cookies at its Rosemont store: deluxe ice cream sandwiches, made with Delaware Valley-based Nelson’s and Jack & Jill ice creams, in so many combinations it may be physically impossible to try them all yourself.
