BRYN MAWR, PA — Authorities have apprehended a man they said was peering into windows in Bryn Mawr recently.

Charles Edward Day, 43, of Philadelphia, was charged with loitering and prowling at nighttime, criminal trespass, harassment, and disorderly conduct, according to court records.

Day was taken into custody Friday after Radnor Township Police on Sunday, Nov. 3 were called to the 200 block of David Drive in Bryn Mawr for a report of a man looking into windows at an apartment complex.

Surveillance footage showed the man hiding behind utility units and walking up to windows and looking inside.

Police recognized the man as Day due to previous contact with him in the Bryn Mawr area and issued a warrant for his arrest.

Day is being held on 10 percent of $25,000 bail and is scheduled for a Nov. 14 preliminary hearing.
