Memorial Golf Classic Raises $50,000 for the Frank Sarris Library

The Frank Sarris Memorial Golf Classic, hosted by Sarris Candies on May 10, raised $50,000 to benefit the Frank Sarris Public Library in Canonsburg. 

Sarris Candies' 23rd annual golf outing took on a new name this year—the Frank Sarris Memorial Golf Classic. The proceeds will be presented to the library at 11 a.m. June 21.

The affair began with a dining extravaganza at the home of Athena Sarris the evening before the golf classic, followed by the day-long event. The 160 golfers happy to indulge in a day of golf, knowing the fruits of their labor were going to such a worthy cause.
