• Only 3 local wrestlers medal at Powerade (observer-reporter.com) — Canonsburg hosted the prestigious Powerade Christmas Wrestling Tournament at Canon-McMillan, where only three local wrestlers managed to earn medals against elite national competition. West Greene’s Colin Whyte, Canon-McMillan freshman Lee Dreshman, and Bentworth’s Owen Ivcic all placed, gaining valuable experience in what many consider a cornerstone test of the wrestling season.
