Copper Stolen From Noblestown Road Building

Two men are accused of burglarizing a Scott Township building and stealing copper to sell for scrap.

Scott Township police said they charged Charles Grodes, 36, of Upper St. Clair, and Dale Brannan, 48, of Carnegie, with burglary, theft and other offenses related to the incident.

Police say they entered the building in the 200 block of Noblestown Road on Jan. 25 and took an undisclosed amount of copper.

Both men were arraigned on the charges by District Judge Gary Zyra.

Scott Township

Trespassing charge: Valerie Arturi, 57, of Bridgeville, was charged with trespassing after Scott Township police said she entered a home in the 1300 block of Raven Drive on Jan. 24.

Man allegedly threatens medical staff: Joseph Petry, 33, of Scott, was charged with terroristic threats following an incident at Scott Medical Health Center on Jan. 23, township police said.

Leaving the scene of an accident: Scott Township police said they charged Noel Demeo, 21, of South Fayette, with reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident following a crash on Jan. 27 at the GetGo gas station on Washington Avenue.

Disorderly conduct citation: Julie Nagel, 27, of Carnegie, was cited for disorderly conduct during a traffic stop on Washington Avenue on Jan. 27, Scott Township police said.

Gold chain stolen from apartment: Scott Township police are investigating the theft of a gold chain from a Carriage Park resident by someone who said they were inside to inspect carpets on Jan. 22.

Disorderly conduct citation: Scott Graham, 21, of Pittsburgh, was cited for disorderly conduct during a traffic stop on Noblestown Road on Jan. 22, Scott Township police said.
