Universal Stainless, Bridgeville Workers Reach Labor Agreement
Universal Stainless has a facility in Bridgeville.
Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc. and its hourly Bridgeville workers have reached a five-year labor agreement.
The new deal will go into effect on Sept. 1.
Universal is a maker and marketer of specialty steels. The Local 9531 of the United Steelworkers represented the workers.

"We are pleased that we have a new contract with the Bridgeville employees that is beneficial to them and is in the best interests of our customers and shareholders. The early ratification allows us to continue to serve our customers with outstanding customer service," stated Dennis Oates, president and CEO.
