Thieves took a stainless steel stove as well as a refrigerator from a home in the 7000 block of Ardleigh Street on Sept. 23, police said. The owner of the home was away from the property from 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 until 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 26.  In that time, an unknown person forced open the front and basement doors and took the appliances, police said. Police valued the stolen items at $4,000.
