PHILADELPHIA — This weekend, you can help keep some hungry goats fed with your old Christmas tree in Philadelphia.

From noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Weavers Way Co-op and Philly Goat Project are teaming up for a Tree-Cycle day at the Farm at Awbury Arboretum.

Christmas trees can be donated to the Philly Goat Project, which will use them to feed their goats.

Philly Goat Project is suggesting a $20 donation per tree to support year-round programming and the goats.

The day will also feature fire pits, hot cocoa, farm tours, and goat petting.

Trees can be dropped off curbside or brought to the farm by vehicle or foot.

All trees brought for donation must be pesticide and decoration free.

In the event of rain, the event will take place Sunday.

The Farm at Awbury Arboretum is located at 6336 Ardleigh St., Philadelphia.
