Cranberry Gets New Lebanese Eatery
Four years after owner Jason Taylor ventured out with a food truck, he now has opened a sit-down location in Cranberry.
CRANBERRY, PA — From a food truck to a bricks-and-mortar spot in Lawrenceville to suburban Cranberry: Pita My Shawarma has opened a location at 20018 Route 19.
The menu includes chicken shawarma, hummus wraps, falfalel wraps, Lebanese salads, chicken loaded fries and baklava.
Pita My Shawarma started as a repurposed United States Postal Service food truck in 2018. The Lawrenceville location on Butler Street opened in 2020.

"With a University of Pittsburgh bachelor's degree in business administration with a marketing major, I wasn't happy with the jobs I've had and wanted to go back into my passion of cooking," owner Jason Taylor said on the restaurant's website. "In high school, I vividly remember stacking shawarma on a mini rotisserie at my parent's house and trying out different toppings and sauces just as a hobby for cooking."
The Cranberry location is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Sunday.
