In Cranberry, Make Your Own Muppet-Style Puppet

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — It's not every day kids have the opportunity to bring imaginary characters to life. The Cranberry Public Library is about to provide one.
Project Puppet is a multi-day course that will guide participants through the process of creating their very own Muppet-style puppet. Participants will select the components of their hand-and-rod puppet and assemble it using tools found in The Forge Makerspace. Each participant's puppet will be unique to them.
The workshop runs for four days, with two separate sessions:

- July 22-24, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and July 25 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
- July 29-31, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. and Aug. 1, 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
The program costs $177 per person and includes all materials and the instructor fee. Instructors will assist attendees with using machines and learning the skills needed to complete their project. Participants must be at least 12 years old.
Registration for the program must be completed before the start of the first session.
