Devan Ness, 25, turned himself in after the Wednesday robbery.

Devan A. Ness, 25, has been charged with a single count of robbery, after he tried to rob a township dry cleaner with a hypodermic needle.

Ness went to Take It To the Cleaners on Freedom Road on Wednesday around 9:30am, pointed a hypodermic needle at the clerk and demanded money. Police say he threatened the clerk but she was not injured.

A manager was right outside the business so Ness fled without money.
