Cranberry Pizza: Who Makes The Best?

Reviewers weigh in on which places serve the most superb pies.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - No matter how you slice it, there's no disputing this fact about pizza: People like different types of pie, so trying to determine an area's best pizza places is a virtual impossibility; it's a matter of personal preference.

That being said, some pizza places in Cranberry appear to be preferred by more people than others, at least when it comes to Google reviews. What follows is a ranking of Cranberry’s top pizza joints based on the average number of stars received in reviews.

Cranberry’s newest pizza place also is its highest-rated. Said this reviewer about Blaze, which opened just last month: “Best tasting pizza I have had in a long time! Service was great ,Wow what a change from the other pizza shops.”

Raved this reviewer: “Champs is my go to pizza place.. Their pan pizza crust is amazing.”

“They have the best hoagies and pizza ever,” one reviewer wrote. “You can't find their style of pizza anywhere. Nor can you find pizza shop hoagies like they have.”

Opined this reviewer: “Solid pizza joint.Service is fast and friendly. Restaurant is noisy and casual. Food is delicious! Especially enjoyed their special roasted red pepper pizza.”

“Great service and food,” one fan wrote. “Very friendly with Gluten allergies! Calzone, stromboli and pizza are always great.”

“I’ve always loved Domenico’s,” this reviewer wrote. “It’s casual fancy, large room for special occasions, outside patio...very polite, efficient service.”

While Patch couldn’t find a pizza-specific review here, overall the food being served was rated excellent.

Sure it’s a chain. But successful chains usually are successful because they serve good food.

“Really good pizza,” this reviewer wrote. “There are very few pizza places outside of New York where I would travel more than 10 minutes to buy a pizza. This is one of them.”
