4. Cranberry Kicks Off Slow Down Campaign

On Saturday, June 8, one day after Seneca Valley lets out for the summer, Cranberry will begin its annual weeklong Slow-Down Campaign.

As part of the project, residents participating in the program place yards signs in front of their homes reminding drivers to slow down.

Two speed-gauge trailers also will be rotated through participating neighborhoods and there is an increased police presence in those areas.

5. Free Electronics Collection

Do you have computers or electronics you need to dispose of in a safe, environmentally responsible manner? Would you like to ensure that your sensitive data doesn’t get shared with the world?

A free electronics recycling for all Pennsylvania residents, as well as small businesses that have fewer than 50 employees, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at St. Ferdinand’s Church on Rochester Road in Cranberry.
