1. Cranberry Planning Advisory Commission
Get the scoop on what developments are in the works for Cranberry. The commission meets at 6 p.m. Monday, July 1 for its regular session at the on Rochester Road.
Developers for the Village of Cranberry Woods, which includes the UPMC-Pittsburgh Penguins sports medicine facility and ice rink, are expected to present plans at the meetings.
2. Canceled: Cranberry Board of Supervisors Meeting
The Cranberry board of supervisors has canceled its meeting for Tuesday, July 2.

3. Picture Book Picnic
Weather permitting , Miss Annemarie from the Cranberry Library will head outside for a free, all-ages story time from 11:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 2. The program includes stories, songs, and rhymes.
4. Firecracker Family Swim Night
Start the holiday weekend with a splash! Firecracker Family Swim Night will be held at the Cranberry Waterpark from 9 to 11 p.m. Wednesday, July 3. General admission is $2. There is no cost for waterpark members.

5. Independence Day
Happy Birthday, America! A plethora of Independence Day activities are taking place around the area, including the annual parade and fireworks celebration in Zelienople.
The Zelienople parade kicks off at 11 a.m. and will be followed by the “Celebration at the Park.” Fireworks will kick off at dusk.
