Hoop Dreams: Menβs Basketball League Forming in Cranberry

Cranberry Township, which has offered men's open gym basketball for years at its municipal center, is stepping up its game this spring.
A Cranberry basketball League, including at least six teams with as many as 10 players on each team, is now being formed.

All players must be 18 or older.
League play will be held in the Cranberry Municipal Center gymnasium every Monday evening from 7 to 11 p.m, with four game slots each evening.Β

The program plan, which runs for eight weeks June 3 through July 22, includes regular season games, playoffs and championship games. Certified referees have been lined up to officiate at games as needed.
Registration for the men's basketball league is $250 per team, regardless of how many play on that team. A separate referee fee of $25 per game will be the shared responsibility of the teams playing.
