New Chikn Restaurant Debuts In Cranberry

The popular Pittsburgh eatery has opened its first suburban location.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Chikn, a fried chicken restaurant popular on the University of Pittsburgh campus in Oakland, has expanded to the suburbs. The eatery at 20018 Route 19 in Cranberry opened last weekend.

Chikn features all natural, hormone and antibiotic free chicken cooked in peanut oil and prepared with the customer's choice of heat.

The standard Chikn sandwich features Nashville=style crispy chicken breast, pickles, coleslaw and southern comeback sauce on a brioche bun. The restaurant also offers chicken tenders, nuggets, chicken and waffles, Nashville hot fries and salads.

The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
