Rise and Swim: Cranberry Pool Open for Morning Laps

Cranberry Township's Community Waterpark is mostly for fun—but it's also available for serious athletes and fitness buffs.

Every morning this summer, the pool will open early for the sole use of swimmers who want to use the pool's eight 25-meter (82-foot) lap lanes to improve their muscle tone and cardiovascular conditioning.  

Lap swimming hours run from 6 to 8:45 a.m. Monday through Friday, 6:30 to 9 a.m. on Saturdays, and 6:30 to 10 a.m. on Sundays.

Neither pool membership nor advance registration are required to take advantage of morning lap period.

A drop-in fee of $3 will be collected at the time of admission.
