Walnut Grill Restaurants Launch Effort To Aid Nonprofits
The Pittsburgh-based restaurant chain, which has a location in nearby Wexford, believes nonprofits can benefit from its new initiative.

PITTSBURGH, PA – Walnut Grill American Eatery & Bar has launched a new program to help nonprofit organizations with fundraising efforts. Called Dine + Donate, the initiative provides cash donations related to nonprofit fundraisers hosted by the locally-based restaurant chain.
Under the program, Walnut Grill will donate 20 percent of the gross receipts from a charitable organization’s event held at one of its locations. Dine + Donate joins two other Walnut Grill community support initiatives: Walnut Grill’s existing Teacher and American Heroes appreciation programs provide educators, military personnel, first responders, and front-line medical workers with buy-one-get-one-free entrée offers during specific dates of each month.
