The funding would go toward the Westinghouse SMR, a 225-MWe integral pressurized water reactor with all primary components located inside of the reactor vessel.  It is the company's next product innovation already licensed in the nuclear industry-leading AP1000 nuclear power plant design.

Westinghouse is working collaboratively with the Ameren, Missouri SMR team on the reactor for the Callaway Energy Center.
