Ex-Keystone Oaks Coach Facing Additional Sex Abuse Chargess

A teacher and coach for three Western Pennsylvania school districts, including KO, previously was accused of sexual misconduct.

DORMONT, PA — A former teacher and coach for several Allegheny County school districts who was charged with numerous sex offenses last year is facing new sex abuse charges.

Eric Fairman, 26, was charged Thursday with indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children, unlawful contact with a minors, corruption of minors and sexual assault by a sports official, volunteer or employee, according to court documents.

Fairman was a math teacher at McKeesport Middle School, the varsity baseball coach at Keystone Oaks and a coach and substitute teacher at Thomas Jefferson High School.

Fairman already was facing more than five dozen counts of alleged sex crimes against 11 children. He served as a youth sports coach for eight of his 11 accusers.

Fairman has pleaded not guilty to those charges and is scheduled to go to trial in July.
