House Fire on Dunster Street in Brookline
The fire broke out just after 9 p.m. Thursday.
A fire broke out at a home in the 700 block of Dunster Street in Brookline, around 9 p.m. on Thursday.
The City of Pittsburgh Fire Department responded.
A neighbor conversing with Dormont-Brookline Patch on Twitter said the fire was put out quickly, and that windows and part of the roof appeared to have been removed to fight the flames. The neighbor said the homeowner is believed to be out of state, that crews are on scene investigating the cause of the blaze.

Some relatives are at the scene, and some are searching for the neighbor's cat, the neighbor said.
