Man Critcially Injured In Brookline Melee, Another Injured

BROOKLINE, PA —Two men were injured, one critically, after a Berkshire Avenue fight that police responded to just after 12:30 a.m. on Monday.
Officers arrived to find two male victims down on the street with head injuries consistent with being hit with a hammer or blunt object. One is in critical condition, one is in stable.
Witnesses told police the altercation started at a residence in that same block of Berkshire. Officers did a protective sweep of the address and discovered a possible actor hiding inside.

He was transported to police headquarters for questioning.
Violent Crime Unit Detectives later arrested Brayan Salvador, 21. He is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
