Man Gets Prison Term For Raping 15-Year-Old In Dormont

The case dates back to 2004, when Moshu Journo fled the country after being charged with sexual assault.

DORMONT, PA — An Israeli man will spend 15 to 25 years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at his Dormont tanning salon in 2004.

Mosho Journo last month was found guilty of sexual assault charges. Journo, 56, fled the country in 2004 and was not apprehended until being arrested by Israeli police 2017. The FBI and Allegheny County Sheriff's Office collaborated to have him extradited back to Pittsburgh in 2019.
