Vehicles Damaged, Theft and Burglary Reported in Area

Pittsburgh Zone 6 Crime Update, June 17 to June 24.

The following incidents were reported by Pittsburgh Police between June 17 and June 24. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary

  • Money and a watch were stolen from a home in the 2300 block of Bensonia Avenue in Beechview on June 18 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The victim told police the burglar entered the home by forcing open a basement door.

Theft

  • A bike was stolen from the porch of a home in the 300 block of Bellbrook Street in Brookline on June 17 between 4:15 and 6 p.m.

Criminal Mischief

  • Someone shot out the window of a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of West Liberty Avenue in Brookline between 3 p.m. on June 23 and 10 a.m. on June 24.
  • Damage to a rear window screen of a building in the 700 block of Brookline Boulevard was reported on June 21 at 11:45 a.m.

Arrests

  • William Bagley of Brookline was arrested in the 800 block of Brookline Boulevard on June 20 for providing false identification to law enforcement and for a bench warrant.
  • Terry Seltz of Carrick was arrested on June 21 on Woodville Avenue in Beechview for driving a vehicle with altered documents and various other driving offenses.
